The legend says the two brothers Ribeaupierre, who lived in keeps of Saint-Ulrich and Girsberg, went hunting everyday together.

Every morning, the first one who woke up let his brother knew he was ready by shooting an arrow near his window. But one day, the youngest fired his arrow, as usual.

At the same moment, the elder woke up, but he was in the trajectory! He received the arrow in the heart... and died.

Racked with grief, the brother left and took holy orders. The legend says his ghost, moaning, appeared near the keep...
