One little story about this building... Alain Chartier, born in Bayeux city, was the secretary of kings of France Charles VI the Mad and Charles VII. He was renowned for his orator's talent.

One day, he received a kiss on the lips from Margaret of Scotland, king Louis XI's wife, as he was sleeping on a bench, in the cathedral.

Princess suite was amazed by her attitude! She answered she did not kiss the man, but the genius who told nice speeches...
