Now I'm walking in one of Orléans' lively streets: the rue de Bourgogne. There isn't a soul about, so I can examine houses façades.
Oh! Suddenly, I come across this Sanxerre building, nicknamed "Canon's house".
It was raised from 1543 by Pierre Biart and Philippe Bénard. This white stony house seems so sober!
But look at this little corbelled construction! Was it a study, or an observation post?
