Castle Hohlandsbourg castle

Hohlandsbourg! An old fortress raised in 1279 for provost of Colmar, Siegfried de Gundolsheim.

Reinforced and extended in the 14th and 15th centuries by counts of Lupfen and by the Habsburg's councillor, they demolished it during the 30 Years War, in the 17th century. The restoration began in 1988!
