A little history of Lorris covered market

On a little square, in town centre, I come across these 12th century covered market. It bring us back in the past, when medieval markets took place, isn't it? Just imagine the agitation, the swarming activity, when those covered markets used to house fairs (which took place on Tuesday, at that time). The English destroyed the place in 1358 during the Hundred Years War. They were rebuilt one century later.
