The tour de l'Horloge ("Clock tower"), also known as tour du Change ("Exchange tower"), is an old vendommoise tower of the second city enclosure which sheltered the municipal clock.
The bell dates back to the 16th century. The bell's stamp was founded in 1511.
What about the old fortifications of Beaugency's castle? Let's go! These ones stretched out to the bridge on the Loire, before being razed in 1667.
The only vestige of the old castle is a massive tower... yes, you guessed it, the tour César ("Caesar's tower")!
