Statue Auguste Bartholdi Statue of Liberty in Paris

Here’s the small-scale model of the American statue! My word!

Sculptor from Alsace Auguste Bartholdi (he created the lion of Belfort) made it in 1886.

Paris city decided to put the model here, for the Universal Exhibition of 1889. When it was inaugurated, the statue had to face America, towards the open sea.
