Cathedral Saint-Just-Saint-Pasteur cathedral in Narbonne

Bishop Maurin laid down the first stone of the cathedral in 1272.

In 1285, king of France Philip the Bold's last remains were buried here: the king had just died in Perpignan the same year.

The choir was completed in 1332, but we have to wait until June 1708 to see the resumption of the building works: the transept and the nave were completed.
