The Romanesque church dates back to the 12th and 13th centuries. It was the former chapel of a Cluny priory founded by saint Etienne, count of Aumale and his wife. The couple gave it then to Saint-Martin-des-Champs abbey in Paris.
Oh, did you see that? This huge Romanesque baptismal fonts dates back to 11th century, decorated with columns, cable mouldings and those curious characters roughly sculpted!
One of those little monks crouching down seems to be tempted by a dragon, maybe the Devil himself.
Sculpted in a local stone, this is one of Picardy oldest fonts!
