Rue de la Poterne in Orléans Street District House Half-timbered

What's interesting in this street is this wood framing house with a stony ground floor, which was raised in the second half of the 16th century. It was probably the house of a rich merchant, because it has a gable. The façade overlooking the street and its gable were the most visible parts of a house. So rich people decorated them, in order to make their fortune obvious. Here, ochre façade distinguished from others houses!

And also!
