Orléans Thesis room Enseignement

It's the annexe of the Orléans' University, which had its main building rue des Ecoles. At that time, the salle des Thèses ("Thesis room") used to be a library and a place where students took their exams. This is the oldest Gothic civil building in France! It was raised in 1421. Originally, there were two buildings with a small courtyard.
