Speciality

A simple blackcurrant paste? No, don’t be so sure! Crunch it, you’ll see...

Under its nice violet coating is a liquid heart full of blackcurrant liqueur! Oh, but Dijon is THE blackcurrant city...

This candy was created in 1901 by Duthu family and they called it Cassiduthu (contraction of cassis, French word for "blackcurrant" and Duthu).

The name cassissine appeared in 1920.
