Near Draguignan, here’s the dolmen (dol means "table" and men "stone" in Breton), the most important one in Provence!

It's the "Fairies stone", raised near the old Roman road linking Rome in Italy to Fréjus in Provence.

They made excavations in 1844, and they found near the dolmen weapons, bones buttons, last remains... in fact, our dolmen was a grave!

A funerary place raised by a Celtic tribe, the Oxybiens, who lived in Draguignan area...

The dolmen is made of 3 standing stones covered with a fourth one. Stone probably came from neighbouring quarries.
